We are sorry to announce the Passing of Graham Garnett, a former Player, Captain and Committee Member of Kirkby Lonsdale Rugby Club. Graham had not been able to visit the Club due to illness for the last 10 years, but prior to his illness Graham was a long time supporter of the Rugby Club, he was Captain for two seasons in the 1950’s and was a hard working Committee member for many years and helped to build the original Clubhouse on Fairbank. Grahams father played for Kirkby, Graham and his brother John were players and Graham’s son Nigel played during the seventies and now Graham’s Great Grandson, Theo Bentley is a member of the Mini and Youth section (pictured below).

Those involved with the Club who remember Graham will remember him with great affection and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
